Robert Lerche — has over 30 years of experience in software development. He has managed software development projects, designed and implemented complex systems, and debugged both hardware and software in a wide variety of environments, ranging from embedded microprocessor systems to mainframes. Robert has been responsible for all aspects of the development process, from planning and design through implementation and test to release and customer support.
For the last fifteen years Robert has led MSB Associates, a boutique consultancy with a strong track record of on-time delivery of critical projects, with consultants working individually or together as a swat team. He has extensive experience in operating systems, virtualization, secure distributed systems, databases and high-availability systems.
Robert provides litigation support services, both as a consulting expert and a designated witness. He has analyzed software source code to determine patent infringement and the possible equivalence of software and hardware implementations. In composing expert reports he has explained detailed technical matters in comprehensible terms.
Robert is the inventor of U.S. patent #6,457,175, "Method and apparatus for installing a software upgrade within a memory resource associated with a computer system."
