George S. Cole, Esq., MSB Associates Corporate Secretary. George currently practices law as a solo practitioner in Redwood City, specializing in intellectual property (including patent), computer, and business law. This allows him to exercise both his J.D. from the University of Michigan (1981) and the M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford (1987). He prefers creative and preventative work but can and will also use his litigation experience. He added patent prosecution to his practice in 1998 to meet the need for software-savvy practitioners.

His effort to maintain a sane balance between work, family, and community, uses such varied tools as two extremely cute dogs, humor, and even occasional humility. He has written about the legal concerns of artificial intelligence and expert systems, worked as a Teaching Fellow at Stanford, consulted for both Apple Computer and Xerox PARC, served as an arbitrator (computer-related, of course) for the American Arbitration Association, and earned a black belt in jujitsu. Twice; thereby showing persistence, grit, and no small element of stupid stubbornness.
